Run The Highlands is a new and exciting collaboration between four experienced runners, each with a unique background and journey into running.
With a wealth of experience in mountain guiding, endurance coaching, personal training and racing, you can benefit from their knowledge by joining the team on one of their courses, or by booking your own bespoke running adventure. Based out of Fort William, this is the perfect location for runners of all abilities. Whether you're venturing onto trails for the first time, want to build your confidence while running in the hills, or are intrigued by the idea of sky running, they have a course for you. |
Intro to Trail & Mountain RunningThis course is suitable for those with some experience running on roads, who might be relatively comfortable on home trails, or has done some hill walking. It is designed to help you become more confident running independently on trails / mountains, and gain an understanding of how to train for these activities

Trail & Mountain Running DevelopmentThis course is suitable for those who are quite happy undertaking runs on trails and may have completed a few mountain events. It is designed for those who would like the confidence to explore the mountains independently and take their runs into more technical terrain. Participants may also be looking to train ‘better’ i.e understand their training, be injured less, move faster, or achieve a big goal.
